Overview

This is a 2.5- day programme that has been carefully constructed to enable delegates to:
  • Understand the purpose of asset management and what it means to their business.
  • Evaluate the benefits of ISO 55001 certification and other strategies in relation to business needs.
  • Identify business functions which deliver optimum asset performance.
  • Develop and implement an effective risk based Asset Management Strategy.
  • Develop confidence that relevant statutory, regulatory and insurance obligations are met through focussing on pre-emptive and planned management of physical assets.
  • Deliver business performance (EHS, finance, time, quality) through alignment of business enablers.
  • Understand the key role of resource selection and competence management in delivering sustained asset management.
  • Develop SMART performance metrics, leading and lagging indicators to monitor effectiveness of assets.
  • Manage plant, process and information reporting.
The programme includes practical exercises and an assessment. Delegates must have a basic awareness and understanding of the organisation’s business processes.
